Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

So for ages now I have been trying to find a tinted moisturizer that has really good reviews but without the huge price tag. I had been eyeing up the Nars tinted moisturizer but after reading reviews I figured it wasn't quite what I wanted. Vivianna Does Makeup did a review on all of the tinted moisturizers she had used and I came drawn to the Laura Mercier one, mostly because she reviewed it as the one with the most coverage. I have always been a full coverage girl with my Nars Sheer Glow and my MAC Studio Fix and the Studio Sculpt. So having hardly any coverage was basically like having no makeup on to me but I thought I'd take the plunge as I have got to the point where I hate wearing full coverage makeup to the office everyday and I need something that's a little more lightweight. Also it will give my skin a chance to breathe abit more too! I'll let you know what I think about it in a couple of weeks. What do you think tinted moisturizers?

Clarins Colours Of Brazil

As I am hitting pan with my Nars Laguna Bronzer I thought I would splurge out and get the prettiest summer bronzer from Clarins. I have always been intrigued to see what they were like so I ordered it on Sunday directly from their website. The outside is so pretty and has an embroidery like pattern on it. Its bigger than my hand and my hands aren't particularly small so I think its going to last a while!

So now is the gorgeous inside that matches it!

Its made up 2 matte shades (a lighter an a darker) and the top square is the only part with shimmer! The powder is made up of skin loving plant ingredients to protect skin against pollution. Its Clarins, I wouldn't expect anything less. I haven't tried it out yet as I'm scared use it, it looks too pretty!
Does anyone have the Colours Of Brazil bronzer? Or maybe something even better I could try?

Tanya Burr Lips & Nails

I have been dying to get my hands on the Tanya Burr Lips & Nails collection since the first day of release. The collection is yet to come out in the Superdrug in Gloucester so when I travelled to Bristol to meet Pixi woo I had a search for it there and I found it!! I must of been stood in Superdrug for about half an hour trying to decide on which one to get. I promised myself I'd get 1 nail polish and 1 lip-gloss. So here is a little review and summary of my purchases.

I opted for the lip-gloss in Aurora. I did swatch it in Superdrug and the thing that brought me to it was the smell, it smelt like sweets! It also didn't feel sticky on  my hand which most lip glosses do. I wore it to work the day after and the application is amazing, a little goes a long way but of course you can add more layers for a more 'plumped' look.

I opted for the nail varnish in Bright And Early. I think its abit like Essie Cute As A Button. The nail varnish itself has lasted me 3 days without chipping so far, that's pretty good going!

Do you have any of the Tanya Burr collection? What do you think?

I MET PIXIWOO!!!

My friend came up to me at work the other day and asked me if I wanted to go to Bristol on the 5th of August to go and meet Pixi Woo from 5pm-7pm. My answer was obviously yes!! I watch all of their YouTube videos, have all of their brushes and follow their makeup styles.
Pixi Woo is made up of 2 sisters, Sam & Nic Chapman, they are famous for their makeup videos on YouTube and also their makeup brushes 'real techniques'.

The 5th of August came and I was so nervous about what to wear and how to do my makeup, I didn't do anything out of the ordinary but just kept topping it up throughout the day. When we got to boots in Cribbs Causeway there was already a big queue of people waiting to see them, they came out and they looked absolutely amazing and their makeup was flawless! After waiting an hour we finally met them, I was really nervous about what to say but they made the conversation, Nic said she liked my dress which is a definite thumbs up and we also got a signed photo and our picture taken too. They are so lovely and afterwards we went to Bella Italia which was a perfect end to the evening I had.

If any of you get the chance to meet them this week in their 'Real Techniques Road show' they are touring the UK. I would definitely go if you get the chance. Has any of you met Sam & Nic?

MUOD

Its Friday again and yes I do seem to have that 'Friday feeling'. I thought I would share with you what I consider as my everyday face for the office life I have:

MAC Studio Fix Fluid in the shade NW20. I am on my third bottle of this foundation! I love it. It has a medium to full coverage but still looks natural. I use a Real Techniques Buffer Brush to apply with as I like the 'flawless' look it achieves.
Lasting Perfection Concealer by Collection. I absolutely adore this concealer and I think every other beauty blogger does too! It has such high coverage so for days where you're feeling tired or have puffy eyes, this is the perfect solution!
NARS Laguna Bronzer. I've been using this over the summer to bronze myself up abit as I have had a tan and I really like it. The powder has a tiny shimmer within it so its always going to give you that 'bronzed glow'.
Bobbi Brown Bronze Shimmer Brick, I normally switch between this and the MAC highlighter in the shade soft and gentle. I have been reaching for the Bobbi Brown one more often though as I feel it gives me more highlight with less product.
MAC eyebrow pencil, this is something I've had for a while now and still use it most days. I feel like it defines my eyebrows although I probably won't repurchase as its quite expensive.
MAC Cr癡me d'nude Lipstick. This is one of the best nude lipsticks I have ever come across, along with my honey love lipstick I will definitely be re purchasing if they ever run out!

Hope this post helps anyone that's looking for new makeup or is just looing for a read!
