April Favourites

L’Oreal Paris Perfection Brow Artist Plumper:

Boots happened to have 3 for 2 on a few weeks ago and I
needed something new for my brows. I was going to take the plunge and get Gimme
Brow from Benefit but I thought I would try this as it seems very similar for a
cheaper alternative. When I first used this it came out in clumps in my
eyebrow, I’m guessing because I had so much product on the brush. I used a
little eyebrow brush which I got from the Seventeen eyebrow kit to smooth it
out and spread the product and I was actually amazed at how good my eyebrows
looked! It dries quickly and keeps your eyebrows in place all day without
looking fake.

Nivea Daily Essentials Sensitive 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Water:
This is another product that I got with my 3 for 2 from
Boots. I had heard about this product before from various beauty bloggers so I
thought I would give it ago as I had finished Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.
I feel the Nivea cleansing water is very gentle on the skin and does really
remove all of your makeup! It helps protects against the 3 mains signs of
sensitive skin which is redness, tightness and dryness. I will definitely be re
purchasing again and it’s currently £1.84 at Boots!
I always find myself comparing my pictures to everyone
else’s. I haven’t got a decent camera but I do hope to be getting one for my
birthday (yay!). I’ve never really had a background to my pictures apart from
plain white so I thought I’d go on the search for an affordable background. I
came across this sticky back plastic from eBay; I managed to get a piece of
cardboard to stick it to and now I feel my pictures are upgrading! Everyone
loves marble.
Mac All Fired Up:
I am a huge fan of matte lipsticks. I wanted a bright red /
pinky coloured one and came across this lipstick, it’s called “All Fired Up”. I
love how it stays on my lips ALL day without budging and it’s not too bright.
Mac lipstick’s are always a must!
The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner:
A few months ago The Body Shop had 30% off everything in store so I thought I would take full advantage of it. I brought this Tea Tree Toner as it’s a refreshing toner for blemished skin gives a beautifully matte, shine-free finish. It does exactly what it says and leaves my skin feeling matte. I believe it’s helping with my blemishes too, it’s my second bottle!
Nip + Fab Dragon’s Blood Serum:
I did a blog post on this last week, you can check it out here. This is described as a lightweight serum that delivers an instant shot of moisture to dehydrated skin. You can apply this twice a day and it leaves my skin feeling so soothed and silky.
