I finally got round to making an order with KIKO Cosmetics. Now, this was my first ever KIKO purchase and after seeing so many other bloggers feature it, I decided to take the plunge. I had to make an online order because I don’t have a KIKO store near me. In order to make an online purchase you will need to order a minimum of £25, although I did manage to get free shipping.
The price of the products seems very good value for money
with nail polish starting from just £1. I ordered 7 products and managed to get
a free sunscreen gloss with SPF 20 which will come in very handy when I go
abroad this year. I really wish I would've brought some of their eye shadow
sticks now but I got lots of other lovely products.
Smart Lip Pencil: #700, #702 & #713: I don’t have enough
lip liners and when I saw these lip liners for £1.90 I thought I’d order a few.
#700 is a nude colour; I think this best goes with MAC Velvet Teddy. #702 is a
bright coral colour, I love this and it is very staying on the lips. I love
wearing this on its own or with the Smart Lipstick in the shade #907. #713 is a
pearly rose colour. It doesn’t seem very pigmented but I haven’t worn it on my
lips yet. The lip liners are very nourishing and bendable which is perfect for
people who suffer with dry lips!
Precision Eyebrow Pencil #01: I am always trying to find
something for my eye brows. I recently brought the L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper
but I didn’t think it did huge amounts for my brows. However, pairing it with
this KIKO eyebrow pencil seems to be amazing. The colour matches my eyebrows
perfectly and it is so easy to apply! The brush attached to the pencil is an
added bonus.
Luxurious Maxi Brush Mascara: I have recently run out of my
Rimmel False Lash Effect mascara and have been on the hunt for a drugstore one.
I use Roller Lash for special occasions but I wanted something for everyday
wear. When this mascara arrived I was quite shocked at how big the brush is
compared to anything I have used before but oh my, this mascara is AMAZING for
making your eyelashes look fuller. It is very buildable mascara and also looks
so natural 100% recommend!
Smart Lipstick #907: I have always been on the hunt for an
orange lipstick. When I saw this on the KIKO website for £2.50 I had to get it.
It’s quite a bright colour but once applied to the lips it evens itself out and
it very nourishing. The pigmentation is amazing for the price of the product,
although I do find myself apply it a couple of hours later. I can’t moan
though!
Skin Evolution Concealer Shade #2: I ran out of my collection concealer and decided to give this one a go. The skin shade options are very limited but and I ordered shade #2. I feel it is quite orangey but once blended it becomes a creamy, medium coverage concealer.
