Beauty Wish List

I love any excuse to revamp my makeup collection even if the products are a little bit pricey. I've made a list of all the things that I've had my eye on - and i tell you why I want them!

1 - ELF Studio Matte Lip Colour - I have had my eye on this product for a while now. Every time I go to order it, it seems to be out of stock! I've heard amazing things so I think when they come back into stock I will be buying the whole collection. For £3.95 its worth a try!

2 - Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze & Glow - This is a high end product that will take me a while to save up to get. At £49 I hope for it to be spectacular. All I've heard is great things about this product and as I love highlighting and contouring I feel its right up my street. Charlotte Tilbury products are brilliant so I don't think this will disappoint!

3 - Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - MAC has always been my number 1 foundation but when you spend £21.50 on a bottle of it, you don't really want to be wasting it and wearing it to work everyday. Corrie from Dizzy Brunette 3 has reviewed this foundation recently and says it lasts all day with a good amount of coverage which is what I'm looking for. Might have to pop into boots this weekend!

4 - MAC Soar Lip liner - Everyone knows that Kylie Jenner's makeup look has been a huge 'thing' recently. Especially her lips. There has been a lot of speculation about which lipsticks and lip liners she uses. Kim Kardashian recently had a interview with Pixiwoo and spilled that she uses Soar and Stripdown. Soar looks like such a beautiful shade and I think it would go nice with my MAC Brave lipstick!

5 - Anastasia Brow Wiz - I've wanted this ever since it has come out, I have no idea why I haven't tried it out yet! Seems like the perfect solution to my eyebrow problems

Have you tried any of these products? What do you think of them?

2014 Beauty Favourites..

Better late than never! My 2014 beauty'ish favourites are up on my blog. I understand that I haven't blogged for a few months but 2015 is going to be the year where I try to work on it more.

I know I don't have many but I didn't have a specific mascara, lip gloss or blusher that really stood out to me in 2014 so here we go -

NARS Laguna Bronzer
I think every beauty blogger in the world has purchased this blusher at some point. For me its been a massive go-to bronzer. I feel its very matte and it suits most skin tones. I am quite pale and I didn't have a problem with it at all!

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation
I feel like I buy foundations on a regular basis to try and get a cheaper equivalent to Studio Fix. I've tried the Rimmel Wake Me Up, Bourjois Healthy Mix, L'Oreal True Match and the Rimmel Match Perfection. None of them seem to work with my skin, I either find them low coverage or very oily. I also find myself re purchasing from MAC. This is my 5th bottle now! Its a very high coverage foundation with amazing staying power, you can buff it in to make it as flawless as you want. If anyone knows a foundation similar to this can you recommend me please?

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
Although I didn't get on with the Wake Me Up Foundation, the concealer is amazing! I'm one of those people who stay up late and regret it the next morning when I have horrific bags under my eyes. I feel like this concealer does exactly what it says, wakes my eyes up, hides the dark circles and just generally make my eyes look a lot brighter in the morning. For £5.49 you can't complain!

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick
Last year I heard a lot about highlighters. I think this was mainly due to Kim Kardashian's make up. I had purchased the shimmer brick back in 2013 but never really used it until last year, to this day I couldn't be without it. It gives a gorgeous natural glow and I tend to put it on the tops of my cheek bones, the arch of my brows and my cupid's bow. I'm excited to try out the other colours in the shimmer brick range as I currently have bronze!

MAC Velvet Teddy
This is probably one of the most popular lipsticks MAC has. I waited 3 weeks for this lipstick to come back into stock (probably with all the other beauty bloggers) as everyone wanted Kylie Jenner's lip colour! I love think lipstick, its a perfect matte nude and can go with any outfit. Will definitely be repurchasing if I run out!

And finally my Tangle Teezer
I discovered this on someone's blog earlier last year. I didn't know if I could justify spending £12 on a hair brush but I am so glad I did. As soon as I used this I threw my old brush away. Everyday since then I have used it. It just seems to glide through your hair even when its so so knotty!

I hope you enjoyed my 2014 beauty favourites. Let me know in the comments below if you have any cheaper alternatives for the above and I will be sure to check them out!
