V-DAY LIPSTICKS


I don’t wear red lipstick that much but when it comes to Valentines Day, I feel like I need to. Dan and I are going out for some food today so I’ve rounded up the possible lipsticks I could wear this Valentines Day.

Clinique Cherry Pop | The Pop Lip colours from Clinique are lovely if you are looking for moisturised lips for 8 hours. The weightless formula merges bold, saturated colour with a smoothing primer. I particularly love Cherry Pop and it’s great for Valentines Day.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte 110 | I am obsessed with Rimmel lipsticks, I think I’m close to owning the whole collection. This particular one is from the Kate Moss Matte collection. #110 appears to be a bright, juicy red with almost a hint of pink to me. Its a shade that I think would look killer with an all-black outfit on a night out.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lipstick - Last Dance | This is described as a ‘True Brick Red’. I actually need to apologize for all of the matte lipsticks that I’ve included in this post. ColourPop has quickly become one of my favourite brands this year. Their Ultra Matte Lipsticks are so weightless, long lasting and luxurious.

Gwen Stefani Lipstick - Spiderweb | This lipstick is the latest edition to my red lipstick collection. Urban Decay have teamed up with Gwen Stefani to create an amazing, limited edition makeup line. I’m actually wearing this today for the first time and I absolutely love it.

    Mac Ruby Woo is my favorite matte red lipstick! I love the Rimmel Kate Moss matte too. Affordable and good quality for a drugstore brand. Great post!
