We’re very quickly approaching summer 2016. Although we haven’t had much of a Spring because it’s ALWAYS so cold here in the UK, I’m really excited for the slightly warmer months. Today I have a “Whats In My Makeup Bag” post and it’s full of things that I’m going to be taking away with me next weekend for when I go down to Newquay. My Makeup Traveler Pouch* is from LYDC London and I love it, it’s so colorful and bright - perfect for summer!
Base: For my skin base, I’m taking my Urban Decay Naked Skin* this is seriously SO good. I am such a lover of full coverage foundations and this is a skin tint that has a slightly higher coverage from the rest. It blends super easy, lasts and day and it really flawless. This is definitely going to be part of my makeup routine when I go away! You really should go and check out Urban Decays new collection.
Blush: I’m taking my favourite blush with me and that the NARS Orgasm blush*. I am so in love with this, it suits my skin tone perfectly. A little really goes a long way and I love dusting it over my cheekbones.
Highlighter: My favourite part of doing my makeup is making my skin glow. Highlighter does that perfectly. I’m going to be packing my Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter* in the shade Aura. This is pink shimmer shade and looks amazing paired with my Orgasm highlighter.
Lips: For my lips, I’m taking my Charlotte Tilbury Between The Sheets lipstick. I purchased this a couple of months ago and I’m so glad I did a matte finish in a gorgeous pinky shade. I really need to get my hands on more CT lipsticks now! Unfortunately, this lipstick was limited edition and is now sold out. I will also be using my NARS Orgasm lip gloss* for over the top!
Contour: For my contour, I will be using my L’Oreal Paris Infallible Sculpt. This is such a lovely product. I don’t really use the “highlight” shade but for a cream to powder contour, it’s amazing. I use a Pro Contour Brush* brush from Crown Brushes to apply and blend into my face. It gives a lovely matte, sculpted finish.
Brows: For my brows I will be using my L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper. This has been my holy grail for about 6 months now.
the l’oréal sculpting palette is amazing. i got it a few weeks back and i can’t stop using it. sooooo good.

I’ve been looking for a drug store contour and highlight pallet - I should check out the L’Oreal one! The Urban Decay Naked Skin sounds like a must try as well 🙂
