It’s that time of the year again, the weather is getting warmer day by day and brands are coming out with their summer collections! Today I’m reviewing Clarins’s Sunkissed collection, which features a waterproof topcoat for lashes, 4 waterproof eyeshadows, a bronzing & blush compact, 2 lip comfort oils and a setting spray. I was lucky enough to receive 2 of the waterproof eyeshadows, a waterproof mascara and a lip comfort oil.
Ombre Iridescente* - I have the shades 01 and 04. Firstly, my favourite thing about these are that they are waterproof which hopefully means that the eyeshadow won’t be sliding off your eyelids in the hot weather or when you want to hop into the pool. I still recommend wearing an eyeshadow primer with these, my favourite is the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer. As most of the eyeshadows that I have come across lately, these are a cream to powder formula which makes them easy to blend on the eyelids with your fingertips. The only downside about these is that they could be a little bit more pigmented, I find myself using a bit more of the product than I’d like to.
I was so excited to receive the Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil*. It’s a lip care treatment infused with all the power of plant oils to nourish and enhance your lips’ natural beauty. I have the shade red berry which is gorgeous and formulated with Achiote.
Lastly, I received the Double Fix’ Mascara*. This is a A double use top-coat mascara: “waterproof” the eyelashes, this completely invisible gel is applied to your regular mascara to make it resistant to water and sweat.
I definitely think that this is one of the best collections yet. It’s perfect for holiday especially with the waterproof eyeshadows and mascara, the setting spray is a bonus and will definitely help with the hot weather.
I lovee the comfort oil!!! So nice and moisturising 🙂

I’ve wanted the comfort lip oil ever since I saw zoella raving about it in one of her favourites videos it looks like such a beautiful nourishing product. I can’t say I’ve ever tried clarins make up so it’s nice to read this and give me some ideas of what to pick up 🙂
