My lovely boyfriend bought me a trip to Amsterdam as my Christmas present - bless him. We actually went 2 years ago and loved it so much that we’ve always wanted to go back. This time we went from the 18th to 22nd of January, our 8th anniversary was the 22nd so it was really nice to spend that in Amsterdam as well. Time flies when you’re having fun, kids!
We stayed in NH Caransa which is right near the centre and about a 10 minute walk from the red light district. The hotel was lovely and clean, the staff were amazing and the breakfast was also incredible with a full English to continental and pastries. We did a lot of sight seeing, Amsterdam is such an instagramable city. If you’re thinking of heading to Amsterdam, I’d definitely recommend going to Mook Pancakes, they do the best pancakes, ever. We also walked through Rijksmuseum, this is is a Dutch national museum dedicated to arts and history in Amsterdam. The museum is located at the Museum Square in the borough Amsterdam South, close to the Van Gogh Museum.
When we got home we were greeted to a parcel from Desenio. The brand itself specialises in wall art, prints and frames.
