‘Luxury products at factory cost’. That’s the words that every beauty lover wants to hear. Beautypie is a brand new innovation to the market offering you to purchase their makeup products at the factory cost - sounds great, right? All you need to do is sign up for £10 a month (minimum of 3 months) and away you go.
Each month you will get a £100 budget which works out to be around 4 products - buying them at full price. I was luckily gifted a 3 month membership to go in and purchase my makeup items. I purchased 4 items….
Futurelipstick - Cowboy Nude; Price £20 - Member price £2.24
Being obsessed with lipsticks, I of course had to try one of theirs. This is a matte nude finish in the shade Cowboy Nude. Its incredibly light, hydrating, weightless, with instant pure colour laydown on your lips. I found the lipstick moisturising, softening, extremely smooth, with amazing pigment plus hydration. I actually felt the lipstick stayed on my lips a lot longer than my normal everyday lipsticks.
Wondergel Lipliner Foxy; Price £15 - Member price £1.47
This lipliner is easiest the pigmented lipliner I own. It doubles up as a lipstick as well! I went for the colour Foxy which is a nude, mainly to go with the lipstick. It’s super pigmented, long wearing and moisturising, I find it so easy to define my lips. I’ve tried MAC lipliners and even they aren’t as nice as this. I definitely need to order myself some more of these!
The Ten Best Natural Eyeshadow Shades; Price £35 - Member price £6.94
I was either going to go for a highlighter or an eyeshadow palette, I’m glad I tried the eyeshadow palette. This palette offers 8 eyeshadow shades, a highlight and a sculpt. I’ve only used a few of the eyeshadow shades but so far they’re natural and buildable. I found them to be really pigmented - which is what you’d expect from a high end product and paired with my Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer, they easily stay on all day. I use the sculpt shade for my crease to give it a bit of definition and the highlight shade for the corners of my eyes and brow bone.
One Powder Wonder; Price £25 - Member price £3.68
Lastly, I picked up a translucent powder. I’ve never tried powder like this before, it is very smooth, finely milled and doesn’t have any kickback which is great because you’re not wasting any product. It also has tiny specks of shimmer which gives my skin a little bit of soft focus effect. I have combination skin, but the sheen form this powder doesn’t make me a greasy mess, I’ve used it everyday since I bought it and I find that it gives my skin a little extra something. Definitely worth trying this out.
Have you tried Beautypie? Will you be picking any of these products up?
