Topshop Make Up Review

L to R - Lipstick, blusher, eyebrow pencil. On top - lip liner

Em Sheldon recently did a post on the lovely Topshop makeup to celebrate Topshop’s 5 Years Of Beauty. Within that post there was a giveaway which gave 5 people (3 from Instagram and 2 from Twitter) the chance to win all of the Topshop makeup featured in her post.
Me being a lover of Topshop, not just their beautiful clothes but their makeup line, I didn’t hesitate in entering and was lucky to be picked as a winner on Instagram! Let’s show you what I got…
Topshop Blush in Head Over Heels -
It’s going to sound weird but I didn’t ever wear blusher until about a year and a half ago. I was convinced that nothing suited my skin tone. However, now I am obsessed with blushers and have lots. This one is beautiful, I am such a lover of coral lipstick so this coral blusher fits well into my collection. I also think that this is going to compliment a tan in the summer! I love the concept of creamy blushers too.
Topshop Party Proof Intense Mascara -
This mascara does literally what it says on the packaging. When I go out, I always want a thick, black, long lasting mascara that makes my lashes look amazing. This does just that. It stays on all day and even in the summer it doesn’t ‘melt’ or come off! An all-round winner for me.
Topshop Brow Pencil -
I am always up for trying new eyebrow products. I have recently been using the KIKO eyebrow pencil but when this arrived, I completely converted. I’m not the best at drawing my eyebrows on but this makes it so quick and easy and what I love is that it has 2 ends! One for the pencil and one for the brush which makes it carrying round so much easier, you don’t have to mess about with brushes.
Topshop Lip Liner and Lipstick -
Unfortunately, the Lip Ink that Em featured in her post was out of stock so Topshop decided to send me a lipstick which paired the lip liner instead. I was absolutely fine with this because it’s a matte lipstick and I LOVE matte. A girl can never have too many lipsticks, right? As for the lip liner, it’s my favourite item. I have been wearing it every single day / night since it arrived in the post. It isn’t drying on the lips which I thought it would be and it stays on hours without having to re-apply. The colour of the lip liner is Disco and the lipstick is All About Me.

21st Birthday Wishlist

17th of July (AKA, my birthday!) I can’t believe I’m turning 21 in less than 2 weeks. Time really does fly; I can remember turning 18 like it was yesterday. I thought it would be fun to put together a little wish list post!
Joe Malone candle
Woah, these are beautiful aren’t they? They also look so pretty to feature in photos. Being a huge candle lover I would absolutely adore one of these in my bedroom. £42 is a hell of a lot of money for a candle but they look divine!
I have been eyeing up getting a camera for a while now. I’m not a photographer but I’ve always wanted a DSLR to take better photos. This Nikon has loads of great reviews and I would love this for everyday use, holidays and blogging!
Tiffany, Tiffany, Tiffany
Where do I start? I would like everything from Tiffany but unfortunately that’s not possible. I already have a necklace but their bracelets are so lovely. The little blue box that it comes in gets me every time!
Clinique Pop Lipsticks
I’m being a little bit greedy with this one. I currently have Melon Pop which I am in love with but I would love the whole collection. These lipsticks are so moisturising and last all day! I do love the look of Grape Pop.
I love Charlotte Tilbury. I have recently purchased the Filmstar Bronze And Glow which is amazing! This new collection looks incredible and with these products, you can literally paint your face in Parkinson’s youth-enhancing light every day. I especially love the colour of youth lip and cheek!

June Favourites

I really cannot believe we are in July already. Where has the year gone and we are currently in the middle of a heatwave! I didn't do a favourites post last month so I thought I would spoil you and do one this month. This is what I was loving in June:

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze And Glow £49 - Link
If you hadn’t already guessed by my previous post here, I love this product and it was obviously going to be making its way into my June favourites. Since buying it I have used this every single day. I can’t get over how gorgeous the highlighter is! I understand that the price tag will put people off but this had been on my wish list for months and I wish I had brought it earlier!

Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara*£10.99 - Link

Beauty at Tesco did a Twitter “share the love” campaign where you could nominate friends to receive a full sized OLAY product or a full size Max Factor mascara. Emily from Emilyloula kindly nominated me and I opted for the mascara. When it arrived the first day using it I wasn’t too impressed but when I had applied a few coats my lashes looked full and lengthy with no clumps! Thanks Beauty at Tesco.

Clinique Melon Pop lipstick £16 - Link

Another make up product has made its way into my favourites. The Clinique Pop Lipsticks seem to be a favourite for everyone at the moment! I purchased Melon Pop which is a gorgeous peach colour which is so nourishing on the lips and lasts for hours without needing to re-apply.

Argos Bookshelf £16.99 - Link

I brought this to tidy up all of the makeup and bits and bobs I had lying around my room. My boyfriend kindly put it up for me and I use it to keep my toiletries, hair care, perfumes, blogging bits and makeup that I occasionally use! I love it and it looks so much tidier!

 Photoshop -

I recently managed to get Photoshop on my laptop. At first I was like “what am I doing” but after watching YouTube videos and reading blog posts I have finally got the hang of it. I don’t do any major editing but changing the exposure, contrast, levels, highlights and shadows is always good. I’m sure there is so much more to learn!
